Building Management System Training

The Building Management System (BMS) course is designed to equip professionals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the design, installation, and management of BMS in modern buildings. The course covers key concepts in integrating and automating building systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety for enhanced efficiency and comfort.

Trainees Will Be Taught

  • Be taught what an AHU is, how it works, and different variations of them.
  • Be shown the most common devices that are fitted to an AHU.
  • Understand the role of each device, and where it should be fitted.
  • Be briefed on the most common abbreviations used in the BMS industry.
  • Be expected to identify items in the drawing and give examples of cables that could be used to terminate them.
  • Be able to explain where different devices should be installed throughout an installation, and in an AHU.

Note : Not applicable for a virtual class
This session will be split between the classroom and the plant room. Trainees will be able to open an AHU to help their understanding of them. Installed devices are able to be opened, examined, and re-terminated to allow them to learn.
